Alliance Research Surveys

Alliance Surveys: Results

With oversight from volunteer committees, the Alliance conducts annual, semiannual, and biannual research surveys of its membership. Survey audiences include, for example, internal medicine (IM) residency program directors, residency and fellowship program administrators, core clerkship, sub-internship, and site directors, and clerkship administrators at medical schools and teaching hospital sites. Additionally, Alliance volunteer groups such as committees, task forces, and other bodies conduct periodic research surveys with technical support from Alliance Surveys staff as needed.

AAIM Staff

Alliance surveys staff manage Alliance survey data collection and will never disclose your or your institution’s identity in any reporting of survey results. All research surveys are submitted to an institutional review board for compliance with human subjects research protections, and surveys staff hold valid human subjects research training certificates.

If you have questions about Alliance surveys or if you did not receive a survey email invitation that you were expecting, contact surveys@im.org. The Alliance uses the Qualtrics Surveys platform; to ensure that you receive email survey invitations from Qualtrics, please add "noreply@qemailserver.com” to your email “safe senders” list if possible. Alliance survey email invitations always include opt-out links, should you prefer not to participate in a specific survey.
