Membership

Welcome to the Alliance

The Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM) is a group of membership associations that span the academic internal medicine education continuum. Our members share ideas, discuss best practices, shape industry standards and policies, and help each other advance in their careers.

Membership in an Alliance association opens the door to a vast world of more than 12,000 professionals who share one common passion. The Alliance empowers academic internal medicine professionals and enhances health care through professional development, research, and advocacy for the profession and our colleagues. Our members are department and division administrators, division chiefs, and education administrators, residency and fellowship educators, student educators, and department chairs, and other leaders.
