Awards Nominations Now Open

The call for nominations for the 2023 Alliance Awards are now open. The Alliance Awards Program honors faculty and staff within academic internal medicine—acknowledge the outstanding accomplishments of your colleagues by submitting an award nomination.

There are four new awards opening for nominations this year: APDIM Distinguished Community Associate Program Director/Core Faculty Award, APDIM Distinguished University Associate Program Director/Core Faculty Award, APDIM PA Rising Star Award, and the MPPDA Alex Djuricich, MD, Award.

Please note, if a nominee is a current board, council, or executive committee member at the time the award recipient is being selected, they are not eligible for award consideration, except for the CDIM Clerkship Administrators Advisory Council.

Alliance Award Recipient Benefits

  • Complimentary meeting registration as follows:
    • APM Robert H. Williams, MD, Distinguished Chair of Medicine Award recipient attends the APM Winter Meeting
    • MPPDA award recipients will attend the MPPDA or APPD Annual Spring Meeting (held alternating years)
    • All other award recipients attend Academic Internal Medicine Week
  • Hotel accommodations up to three nights; up to two nights for MPPDA award recipients.
  • Travel accommodations up to $800.
  • Meals not provided at the meeting up to $180.

The above does not apply to the MPPDA Walter W. Tunnessen, Jr., MD, Award. This award recipient receives a check for $250.

The MPPDA Leadership in Med-Peds Award, in addition to the above benefits, awards $1500 to the recipient.

2022 Award Recipients
