National Volunteer Month

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month

The Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine extends a HUGE thank you to all our volunteers! Your time and expertise truly make a difference. Without you, we could not achieve our goals! Thank you for your generous spirit and dedication.

The Alliance  joins other organizations across the United States and Canada in celebrating National Volunteer Month during the month of April. It is a month dedicated to promoting and celebrating volunteerism.

Alliance volunteers are part of a special group of members who provide leadership and lend expertise to ensure the programs and services we deliver meet the critical needs of our academic internal medicine community. Without you, we could not achieve our goals!

Call for Volunteers: FY2024 Committees

AAIM is pleased to launch the call for committee volunteers for FY 2024 committees.  All current members who meet the criteria and can meet the expectations are welcome to volunteer to serve; members generally may not serve in more than one council or committee capacity in any given year.

To volunteer, please complete the brief online application, which consists of three open-text questions about your areas of interest, previous experience, and skills/knowledge/perspectives you bring to the volunteer service.  CV and resumes are not required but may be uploaded to the application, if desired.  All applications must be submitted via the online form by Wednesday, April 19, at 11:59 p.m. EDT; emailed materials will not be accepted.

Please contact AAIM@im.org with any questions.
