Though educational programs must ensure evaluation completion, how best to optimize response rates by clinical faculty is not well understood. From redesigning assessments to be user-friendly to applying concepts from implementation science, we review practical strategies to help your faculty finish their outstanding assessments. Participants in this webinar will be introduced to basic principles related to assessment and implementation science.
First, we will review strategies to improve evaluation forms so that they are easier for faculty to complete. Subsequently, we will present insights from the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) to provide a practical approach to analyzing causes of incomplete evaluations and potential interventions that can be tailored to an institution. Beyond theory, we will walk through nuts-and-bolts from our own institution's experience using quality improvement to improve evaluation completion rates.
