From Messy to Masterful: Mentoring Trainees on Abstracts, Posters, and Presentations for Maximum Suc
When:
Feb 7, 2024 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)
Medical students and residents are offered many opportunities throughout training to present educational, clinical, and research-related content on local, regional, and national level. Despite these frequent opportunities, many trainees approach these experiences without any mentorship through the process. Improving the quality of trainee-delivered content has the potential to not only maximize the success of that learner, but also increases the impact of their presentations on their targeted audiences (ex. other trainees, conference attendees, etc.). Faculty and chief residents are uniquely poised to create meaningful change in the quality of trainee-lead presentations with a few simple interventions.
Presenters: Katherine Gavinski, MD, Rebecca Green, MD, Dheepa Sekar, MD, and Tanya Nikiforova, MD
