Serve on an AAIM or Association Committee in FY 2023

March 2022—AAIM is committed to providing more members more opportunities to serve on committees and task forces that influence the academic internal medicine community at the local and national level. In FY 2023, AAIM will offer multiple calls for committee, task force, and work group volunteers. This first call features more than 10 Alliance or association committees, including program planning and survey committees, that are currently accepting applications to volunteer. The term of service on a committee is three years.

To be eligible to serve on a committee or task force, a volunteer must be a current member (and the institution's FY 2023 dues must be paid by September 1, 2022), have been a member of the organization for at least three years, and have registered for at least two Alliance or APDIM meetings (in-person or virtual) in the last four years. There are no other eligibility requirements for AIM, APDIM PA, or CDIM CA committees.

All volunteers must complete the application form—which asks three brief questions about interest and experience—no later than Wednesday, April 20. Uploading a CV or resume is optional. Volunteers will be notified about their status in June.
