Conferences

The Alliance hosts three in-person conferences each year with faculty and staff in departments of internal medicine at medical schools and teaching hospitals from across the country.

The premier conference for academic internal medicine, Academic Internal Medicine Week (AIMW), annually brings together more than 3,200 professionals from all member communities. Attendees enjoy a multitude of dynamic plenaries, interactive workshops, an exhibit hall, and both social and networking opportunities.

AAIM hosts two additional in-person conferences annually, with content targeting specific Alliance member communities. At the APDIM Fall Meeting, the Alliance hosts GME faculty and administrators, then each winter, content for chairs and other departmental leaders is showcased at the APM Winter Meeting.

Registered attendees of past meetings can access available presentations and on-demand workshop recordings using the same email used to register.
