Leadership

The Alliance is governed by a representative board of directors, composed of four officers – President-Elect, President, Past President, and Treasurer – council leaders, and at-large members.

Founding councils are composed of four officers and six to nine councilors, generally elected by member majority voting; most councils also include committee chairs, which are appointed positions. Constituent councils are structured in the same way as founding councils and represent large member groups within APDIM and CDIM; the chairs of the constituent councils hold an ex officio position on the respective founding council.

The Alliance Congratulates FY 2027 Council Leaders

The call for FY 2027 council elections closed February 4, 2026. All candidates elected received a majority of the ballots cast, and councils retain authority to appoint individuals to serve in roles with unexpected openings. All terms begin July 1.
