APDIM Surveys of internal medicine residency program directors (PDs) include PDs whose program was originally accredited by ACGME prior to the most recently completed academic year. When timely or critical issues affecting graduate medical education arise, an additional, off-cycle survey also is fielded. The APDIM Survey and Scholarship Committee oversees survey development.
Previous survey results are used to inform resources such as guidelines and “FAQ documents” on the Alliance website and periodic Data in Brief communications.
