AAIM Responds to InCUS Recommendations

After several weeks of concentrated effort from multiple work groups, AAIM submitted its unified response to the recommendations from the Invitational Conference on USMLE Scoring. While allowing discussion of different perspectives of groups within the Alliance, the response emphasizes that the discipline’s most important priority is to train the best physicians possible to care for patients, which requires better tools to assess readiness and knowledge as well as a comprehensive plan to improve the UME-GME transition.

The Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine will host a webinar for its members on Wednesday, July 31, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET to discuss its response to the InCUS recommendations and current initiatives to strengthen transitions in internal medicine. Visit the page linked below to register for the webinar or read the complete AAIM response.
