September 2020— In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine celebrates our faculty, administrators, learners, and the patients they serve. AAIM is committed to supporting this important part of our community and ensuring that all members and staff feel welcome and included. A diverse body of students, faculty, and administrators in our member institutions provides better teaching and learning environments, and better care for patients. AAIM is proud to endorse the principles behind Hispanic Heritage Month as it strives to meaningfully address diversity, equity, inclusion and justice in medicine and in our society more broadly.
