Alliance Creates New COVID-19 Online Community
AAIM created a cross-constituency online community to facilitate broad discussion and best practice sharing. All Alliance members have been automatically added to the community and will receive daily digests of the discussion forum posts. While members are getting used to this new community, AAIM staff will "cross-post" COVID-19 related content from the individual constituency discussion boards to facilitate discussion. Content to centralize available COVID-19 resources, particularly stakeholder guidance, will also be added to the Alliance website.
Update on IM-ITE
ACP notified residency programs March 27 of plans to administer the 2020 IM-ITE as scheduled in late August/early September. However, ACP will continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation and associated social distancing guidelines to ensure the examination is administered with a primary focus on the health, safety, and well-being of participating residents. In collaboration with NBME and AAIM, ACP is also investigating alternative delivery methods in the event social distancing remains a concern by the time the administration occurs.
Registration for the 2020 exam will open in April.
