To qualify for individual membership, you must be from a medical school or teaching hospital without a department of internal medicine and without an internal medicine residency program. If your institution has a department of internal medicine or an internal medicine residency program, learn more about becoming a member via departmental membership.
If you meet the requirements and are ready to join the Alliance, please complete the below form to request an invoice. Individual membership is a flat fee of $500 per academic year.

The Alliance offers members multiple ways to engage with colleagues. When you join AAIM, you are automatically added to the member community most relevant to your work environment. Members can also join one of the nearly 100 other communities separated by interests, work type, or volunteer group. Members gain access to AAIM's searchable member directory to find and connect with your fellow professionals. (Note that member communities and directory require login to access.)
