This month’s Data in Brief presents the association between institutional support sources for professional development and whether internal medicine residency and fellowship administrators participate in professional development, based on results from the 2024 APDIM Residency and Fellowship Program Administration Survey. Although 85 percent of administrators participated in one or more professional development activity in the past year, those without institutional support participated the least, or about half as many activities as their peers with support.
