October 1, 2026, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Webinar
Registration will open on Sept. 9, 2026.
This webinar presents a practical, systems-based approach to closing a key gap in graduate medical education: the early identification and support of struggling residents. Moving beyond the limitations of traditional semiannual Clinical Competency Committees (CCCs), the session introduces a dynamic, remediation-focused committee embedded within program leadership that meets regularly to review real-time, multisource data.
Participants will learn how to operationalize this model by engaging key stakeholders—including chief residents, faculty advisors, and GME leaders—and leveraging existing data streams such as evaluations, onboarding insights, ITE performance, and frontline observations. The session will focus on integrating this structure into existing workflows through protected time, faculty development, and efficient processes. Participants will leave with actionable strategies to design a sustainable, milestone-aligned system that enables timely, individualized interventions, promotes psychological safety and accountability, and supports learner success across residency programs of any size.
