April 2025 - The Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research - made up of more than 500 organizations representing patients, scientists, health professionals, research and academic institutions, educators, and industry - urges Congress to expand NIH spending 9% over Fiscal Year 2025. Funding for the NIH grows each fiscal year, regardless of political parties, as the lifesaving work is vital to supporting the health and well-being of patients and communities across the country.
