Charge: The AAIM Medical Education Research Committee is charged with developing or facilitating resources/tools that would support the AAIM membership in conducting medical education research as directly related to the strategic plan:

  • Tutorials on how to conduct medical education research.
  • Serve as consultants/resource for workgroups/taskforces/councils as they are implementing Alliance projects to ensure appropriate process and outcome metrics are being considered during early work

Committee Update (as of January 2025)

  • Planning continues for the committee’s workshop at AIMW25. The workshop will center on developing medical education scholarships (MES) with existing resources and data. In addition, the committee will staff a booth and hold abbreviated consultations for attendees who have pressing research questions or challenges. 

  • The committee is working to select dates for its FY25 quarterly webinars.
