June 2024 - The 50 members of the Graduate Medical Education Advocacy Coalition (GMEAC) responded to the Bipartisan Medicare Graduate Medical Education (GME) Working Group’s Draft Proposal Outline and Questions for Consideration. The group appreciates the bipartisan effort to further expand GME, which would have a tremendous impact on the physicians and teaching hospitals facing impending physician shortages by 2036.
