AAIM Women in Medicine Leadership Development Forum10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EDT
The AAIM Women's Leadership Forum is designed to provide women faculty and administrators important guidance in their professional career development, as well as advise on effective ways to create pathways to advance their careers, evolve as leaders, and develop networks which can serve as an entrée to opportunities for coaching, mentoring and engagement. Program content is relevant for current and emerging leaders—women chairs, division leaders, clinician educators, administrators and coordinators—in departments of internal medicine from academic medical centers and community teaching hospitals.
AIM New Business Administrators 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT
This online course provides new business administrators in departments of internal medicine and their associated divisions an overview of the management aspects involved in the tripartite mission of internal medicine: research, education, and patient care. CDIM New Clerkship Directors10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT
The New Clerkship Directors course is designed to help develop skills relevant to internal medicine clerkship directors, associate clerkship directors, ambulatory directors, site directors and clinician-educators involved in the medicine clerkship and/or subinternship. Experienced faculty will lead discussions about evaluation and grading, curriculum development, giving and receiving meaningful feedback, and hot topics related to clinical course directors.
APDIM New Leaders
(Residency Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, and Program Administrators)
10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT
This online course is designed to provide new program directors, associate program directors, and program administrators with a focused educational experience led by experienced faculty and staff. Participants will develop a “toolbox” of practical knowledge and skills to develop as a leader and manager. Participants will also have the opportunity to develop a network of new and experienced program directors, associate program directors, and program administrators. View agenda
