Training Problems

The training problems are based on the learning objectives for the CDIM Subinternship Curriculum and common inpatient scenarios, including cross-coverage situations. The student's version contains the cases and questions while the teacher's version contains answers to the questions based on each case. Only CDIM members can access the teacher's version.

Performance Criteria for Fourth-Year Medical Students

Performance Criteria Table

This table outlines the criteria for the performance of the fourth-year medical student during his or her internal medicine subinternship. Developed by the CDIM Subinternship Task Force, the criteria are based on consensus and focus group discussions. These criteria have been developed to help the clerkship director develop curriculum and evaluation for the subinternship. These are not a requirement by CDIM to be adopted at any institution.
