The Medicine-Pediatrics Program Directors Association (MPPDA) is the organization of accredited internal medicine-pediatric residency programs in the United States and Canada. MPPDA is dedicated to
improving medical training in this combined specialty and promoting the growth and development of
medicine-pediatrics programs. MPPDA has a membership of over 200 individuals at nearly 100 institutions,
representing all of the medicine-pediatrics residency programs in the United States.
MPPDA sponsors an annual national meeting each spring. On a biennial basis, the MPPDA meeting is held in conjunction with the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine (APDIM) Spring Conference. In the "off" years, the MPPDA meeting is held in conjuntion with the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD) Spring Meeting.
