Hotel Information

The 2008 APDIM Spring Conference will be held at the Sheraton New Orleans in the heart of the central business district on historic Canal Street. The Sheraton New Orleans is located at 500 Canal Street, a 40-minute cab ride from the New Orleans International Airport. Within walking distance, you’ll find the historic French Quarter, home to famous restaurants, live music, fantastic shopping, museums, and historic sites.

Rooms are available at the Sheraton New Orleans at a special discounted rate of $229 for single occupancy and $259 for double occupancy. Please make room reservations directly with the Sheraton New Orleans online or by calling (504) 525-2500. Please refer to the registration code for the 2008 APDIM Spring Conference to receive the discounted rate: 11568. All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or deposit check for the first night’s stay.

Due to the prevalence of attrition clauses that require a group sell at least 90% of the rooms it reserves or pay the difference, APDIM is forced to reserve a smaller number of sleeping rooms than the expected number of meeting participants. Rooms will be available at the discounted rate on a space-available, rate-available basis no later than Friday, February 8, 2008. Once the block is full, the hotel is not contractually obligated to provide rooms at the negotiated rate even if the deadline has not passed.
