APDIM-ASP Course for New Residency and Fellowship Program Directors and Administrators
This day-long course is held biannually in conjunction with Academic Internal Medicine Week.
Planned by the APDIM Professional Development Committee, the course offers plenary sessions and skill development workshops to improve understanding of the yearly cycle, the external agencies that regulate internal medicine programs, recruitment, curriculum development, work hours, and site visits, among other topics.
The course is designed for residency and fellowship program directors, associate program directors, and program administrators with fewer than three years experience in their roles.
In past years, the course fee was $350 (this price is subject to change). All interested internal medicine faculty may register to attend; however, space in the course is limited to 120 participants.
