APM New Chairs and Emerging Leaders Program
APM offers a full-day program for new chairs and emerging leaders of departments of internal medicine on Sunday, April 14, 2018, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program is designed for chairs who have served fewer than two years in the role, but faculty at all levels are welcome to participate. The 2019 program will offer sessions on leading a department of internal medicine; developing successful partnerships with key leaders—including the dean, other department chairs, the chief administrative officer, and the faculty leadership team—and the challenges of being a chair.
