New Chairs Program

2026 APM New Chairs and Emerging Leaders Program

Wednesday, February 25, 2026
The Scottsdale Resort & Spa

APM offers a full-day program for new chairs and emerging leaders of departments of internal medicine. While designed for chairs who have served fewer than three years in the role, faculty at all levels are welcome to participate. The 2026 program will offer sessions on leading a department of internal medicine; developing successful partnerships with key leaders—including the dean, other department chairs, the chief administrative officer, and the faculty leadership team—and other challenges of being a chair.
