AAIM Health Disparities Toolkit: Adapting Ready Resources for Learners—Part 2, Implicit Bias

The Alliance Health Disparities Collaborative Learning Community will host the webinar "AAIM Health Disparities Toolkit: Adapting Ready Resources for Learners—Part 2, Implicit Bias" Tuesday, November 30, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.

In this second of two sessions from the collaborative, the implicit bias and recruitment subgroup will share background on the development of the resources in the online toolkit, focusing on educational frameworks for discussing implicit bias within medical education and the healthcare system, as well as its impact in health disparities. The session will also highlight recruitment strategies that reduce bias and increase diversity in program recruitment. The facilitators will walk you through implementing and adapting the specific components of the recruitment and implicit bias toolkit to your training program.
