July 2021—All AAIM members are invited to submit a session and/or poster abstract proposal for Academic Internal Medicine Week 2022, being held April 10-13, in-person in Charlotte, NC.
Workshops: All workshops will be 60 minutes. In addition to presenting during Academic Internal Medicine Week 2022, all accepted workshop speakers will be required to pre-record their presentation to be made available for on-demand viewing after AIMW22.
Workshop accept/decline notifications will be sent to the primary submitter in October 2021.
Poster Abstracts: Research poster abstracts include background or introductory information, aim, methods, the results of the research, and a brief discussion or conclusion.
Programmatic innovation poster abstracts will include how the problem was identified and explored, innovation descriptions, results to date, and discussion/reflection/lessons learned. Tips and tools or works in progress are considered programmatic innovations.
In addition to providing a physical poster for the Academic Internal Medicine Week 2022 Poster Reception, all accepted poster presenters will be required to provide a digital poster and record a five-minute video presentation to be made available for on-demand viewing after AIMW22.
Poster accept/decline notifications will be sent to submitting presenter in November 2021.
Deadline: The deadline to submit workshop and poster abstracts proposals is Friday, August 6, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
