TIPS for Teaching
As part of its work, the project developed tips for teaching six content areas in community-based ambulatory settings. The goal of the TIPS documents is to help faculty developers work with community-based faculty to include these content areas in their interactions with medical students and residents. Each document includes descriptions of specific content to cover, thoughts on the appropriate coverage of the content within the patient-teacher-learner process, and bridges to outside resources.
