The Association of Chairs and Chiefs of Medicine (ACCM) is the organization of
physicians responsible for the academic mission of departments of internal medicine at teaching hospitals in the United States and Canada.
ACCM provides opportunities to:
- Network with colleagues through a website, listserver, and online directory
- Share best practices at an annual forum.
- Build leadership skills through participation in the AAIM Executive Leadership Program held annually.
- Advocate on behalf of departments of internal medicine.
- Learn about current policy and AAIM updates through Academic Internal Medicine Insight and AAIM Connection.
