Association Meetings: Where Does the Money Go?
Meetings are one of the most important services the associations in the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM) provide their members. Most of the associations spend at least 40 percent of the annual budget on meetings. Together, the AAIM associations gather 2,300 participants at the eight national meetings held each year.
